Skai Moore announces return

South Carolina defender Skai Moore has announced he will return to South Carolina for his senior season via a post on his Instagram account.

"After talking with my family about this big decision I feel it's only right to go back to school and finish what I started!" Moore said. "I can't wait to be in front of the best fans in the nation next year! Ready to give yall all I got one more round ! Yall ready ?!?!? #BigSafety"

Moore, who was South Carolina's leading tackler during all three seasons of his career, had previously been leaning towards declaring for the NFL Draft, but that mindset seemed to change after defensive guru Will Muschamp was hired as the Gamecocks' head coach.

Moore has 260 career tackles including 111 in 2015.

In a statement released by USC, head coach Will Muschamp said the following:

"I think Skai made a mature decision to come back to the University of South Carolina. He took all the information we gathered for him and decided it was in his best interest to return to school for his senior year. I'm excited about coaching him."
