Sherrod Greene commits to USC

South Carolina added to its 2017 recruiting class on Sunday night with the addition of North Carolina linebacker Sherrod Greene.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pounder committed to USC over offers from Alabama, North Carolina, NC State, Virginia Tech, and numerous others.

"That's where I feel the most comfortable," Greene said. "The coaches are very genuine and i instantly felt like this was the place for me."

Greene delivered the news on Sunday night to head coach Will Muschamp and linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler.

"They just told me how fired up they were and how excited they are," Greene said. "They are looking forward to coaching me."
