Pellage charged with DUI

South Carolina sophomore offensive lineman Christian Pellage was charged with DUI on Friday and has been suspended indefinitely from all football activities per USC athletic department policy.

Pellage will miss at least one game, according to a report from The State, which also said that Pellage had already met with Muschamp and athletics director Ray Tanner.

Pellage, who was charged with first-offense DUI, was released on a personal recognizance bond and has a court date scheduled for Aug. 24. South Carolina begins practice on Aug. 2.

The 6-foot-7, 300-pounder from Brooksville, Fla. played in all 12 games last season, primarily on special teams.
