Moore to miss 2016 season

South Carolina will be without its leading returning tackler for the 2016 season, head coach Will Muschamp announced today.

The senior, who changed his mind about departing early for the NFL and decided to return to USC for his final year, has been battling a herniated disc. Muschamp said on Tuesday at the SEC spring meetings that the injury has not healed as quickly as hoped and that Moore will have surgery soon.

The former four-star prospect out of Florida will miss around six months according to Muschamp, and will use his redshirt this season.
