What I Like: Putnam is quick off the ball, aggressive, and blocks to the whistle. His short-area burst makes him a capable blocker in the run game, where he wins with leverage rather than strength. Putnam’s size and frame indicate he could develop into either a guard or tackle, which would give him some versatility at the college level.

Instant Impact? Putnam would benefit from a redshirt season to work on his positional skills and strength & conditioning. Once Putnam gains strength in his lower body and adds good mass, he could develop into a capable lineman for the Gamecocks.
