Webb, who was selected in the 3rd round of the 2016 MLB Draft as the 82nd overall selection by the Milwaukee Brewers, finished the year 10-6 with a 3.09 ERA.

Webb became the 31st pitcher in school history to reach 10 or more wins with a victory in the 4-2 win over Alabama on May 20.

He allowed 43 runs, 35 earned, on 80 hits in 102.0 innings. He struck out 128 to 48 walks with opponents batting .216 against him.

This is Webb’s third Freshman All-America recognition, as Collegiate Baseball and the NCBWA have honored him as well. He was also named Freshman Pitcher of the Year by the NCBWA.
