Two South Carolina targets decommit from other programs

Two South Carolina targets who plan to announce final decisions on National Signing Day have decommitted from the programs they were previously committed to.

Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek three-star wide receiver Korey Banks Jr. has decommitted from North Carolina and Ford Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard three-star defensive tackle Aaron Thompson has decommitted from Maryland.

Both prospects took official visits to South Carolina this past weekend.

Banks, who is also considering Alabama, will announce his decision at 7:30 Wednesday morning while Thompson will announce his at 11 a.m.
