TE Robert Tucker commits to South Carolina

Atlanta (Ga.) B.E.S.T. Academy three-star tight end Robert Tucker landed an offer from South Carolina last week and immediately set an official visit.

But Tucker didn't want to wait. The 6-foot-3, 237-pound Tucker committed to South Carolina at his school today.

Tucker was recruited by co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Bryan McClendon.

"He's real down to earth," Tucker said. "To me, he's real. He's straight up with you. He's just a good person in general."

Tucker will officially visit South Carolina this weekend.
