Stroman to transfer

USC junior guard Marcus Stroman will transfer from the program, GamecockCentral.com's Carey Rich has learned.

Stroman, a Columbia product, has received his release and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. He played in 29 games and averaged 2.3 points per game during the 2015-16 season. Stroman was one of five players suspended by head coach Frank Martin prior to the start of the Gamecocks' postseason play.
