Silva, Blanton rejoin team

Both Chris Silva and TeMarcus Blanton have rejoined the South Carolina basketball program, head coach Frank Martin said Thursday, following suspensions dealt due to a conduct issue.

Martin says that Silva and Blanton, both rising sophomores, are in good standing with both the team and the university now.

“They’ll be on campus starting June 30,” Martin said. “They’ll be back in class for the second summer session. We’ll sit down and figure out what the next step is with them. They’ve paid a price.”
