The wait is over for cornerback Jamarcus King, who has been cleared for enrollment at South Carolina and is now officially a member of the Gamecock football team.

King, ranked by Rivals.com as the top junior college cornerback prospect in the country, was a key acquisition for Will Muschamp following his arrival in Columbia. The former Auburn commitment drew offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Florida, Louisville, Missouri, TCU, Tennessee, and numerous other during the process.
