The Gamecocks current and future players are waiting to hear their names be called in this year's MLB Draft.

Rounds 1-2 plus compensatory picks will be announced Thursday on MLB Network while rounds 3-10 scheduled for Friday and rounds 11-40 on Saturday.

High school players are eligible for the pros right out of high school and college players are eligible if they are three years removed from high school.

Non-senior and high school draftees have until July 15 to decide between signing a professional contract or going/staying at USC.

Gamecock draftees

Class of 2016 third baseman Joe Rizzo selected in the second round (No. 50 overall) by the Seattle Mariners. The slotted payout for this pick is just north of $1 million.

Right handed pitcher Braden Webb was selected in the third round No. 82 overall by the Milwaukee Brewers. This year's payout is over $700,000. Last year's pick received $1.1 million at this slot.

Outfielder Dom Thompson-Williams drafted in the fifth round (No. 158) overall by the Yankees. Slotted signing bonus this year is $341,000.

Infielder Marcus Mooney was selected No. 289 overall by the Atlanta Braves in the 10th round.

Outfielder Gene Cone was selected in the 10th round (No. 310 overall) by the New York Mets.

Right handed pitcher Taylor Widener was selected in the 12th round (No. 368 overall) by the New York Yankees.

Gamecock commit and second baseman Carlos Cortes (Lake Howell HS, Florida) selected in the 20th round (No. 610 overall) by the New York Mets. Cortes announced already he'll come to South Carolina and opt out of a pro contract.

RHP Wil Crowe drafted No. 632 overall (21st Round) by the Cleveland Indians. He's said he wants to return to South Carolina.

Commit Dalton Griffin selected No. 643 overall by the Kansas City Royals.

RHP Matt Vogel was picked No. 750 overall (25th round) by the Tampa Bay Rays.
